Consultations

If your GP is seeking a specialist opinion, they may request a Clinical Consultation. This appointment will see a neurologist assess you, ask you about your medical history, and suggest further actions such as testing or management, depending on your individual situation. 

A Neurological Consultation may be recommended for a number of reasons, including but not limited to; 

  • Botox™ Administration for Neurological Conditions 
  • Cervical or Lumbar Radiculopathy
  • Dementia
  • Epilepsy
  • Headaches 
  • Movement disorders
  • Myopathy
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Motor neuron disease/amyotrophic lateral sclerosis 
  • Neuroimmunology
  • Parkinson's Disease 
  • Peripheral neuropathy
  • Stroke
  • Vertigo

It is advised that you bring information on your medical history and medications you are currently taking, as well as any relevant tests such as an MRI.
